I started Ceramics when I was 15 at evening classes and passed O and A  levels. I continued Ceramics classes and started Stained Glass classes in 1995 at Targa Gap, and later at MCAST. In 2001 I set up my own studio, and   between 2004 and 2008  I read for a BA in Ceramics as a distance learner at the Glasgow School of Art.

Medium: I make both functional ( eg mugs, bowls, plates etc) and non functional work, eg wall plaques, and sculptures out of clay. I fire to 1250 degrees celcius.

I also do raku firings at 950 degrees celcius. In glass I fuse different colours and patterns to make jewellery pendants.
