Robert Farrugia & Maria Piscopo – ‘Lewlu’

We met one hot summer full moon night on a beach and have ever since been jumping around trying different things. The craftwork idea all started on a sunny Sunday early morning as we were selling our old stuff at the ‘Razzett tal-Hbieberija’ market when it dawned to us that we should have a go at doing our own stuff from recycled materials. Patches has ever since been our target to exhibit our work there for the first time. We love the atmosphere of markets, especially the special ones

Decorative Pots – undercoat spray, gesso, sand, paper, glue and acrylics. Necklaces – swivels, nylon thread, old keyboard keys and lewlu. Bracelets – colourful buttons and thread. Hanging Lamps – recycled tin cans, driller and drill bit, acrylic, lewlu, wire and candles. Bookmarks – lewlu and wire.
