Nancye Church

Nancye was born in Vancouver, Canada but grew up in St. Julians, Malta.She began her career as a jeweller on completing a degree course in Design/Jewellery at Middlesex University where she gained core experience with the internationally renowned royal jeweller Andrew Grima in London. She found a workshop in Clerkenwell and was self-employed selling jewellery to Liberty’s, Detail and Lesley Craze Gallery in London; Sympsons in Canada and galleries in the USA, Japan and Australia. Exhibitions included Fashion Accessories in New York, Dazzle in London and Edinburgh and Top Drawer in London. Silver and precious metals are at the heart of Nancye’s designs and, more recently she has enjoyed using copper again. Details include the use of semi-precious stones, leather and coloured silk thread.
