Beardy Buck (David Falzon)
Beardy Buck, a firm believer in the DIY principles, devotes his time to creating handmade garments. He does his best in transfering his anti-mainstream ideas onto fabric through the use of different techniques. Being a big fan of the Punk subculture, which brought into existence bands such as The Ramones, Patti Smith, Television, The Voidoids, The Clash & The Sex Pistols, Beardy Buck is hugely influenced by the rebellious aura radiated by this particular era. Moreover, he is also an admirer of Jean Michel Basquiat’s work. While reusing fabric that is found in the household, such as denim and cotton jersey, he strives to achieve freedom from conventional beliefs by injecting absurdity into ready to wear garments.
